Poker Theme Party Background, Facts, and Game Trivia

Did you know that depending on the statistics, poker party past, facts, and trivia, poker can be assigned a national sport? Forty to fifty million Americans regularly compete in poker. That is beyond 1 in five Americans trying their hand at this absorbing, commonly addictive game! Among notable poker participants, one of the most exemplary and notorious American presidents, President Richard Nixon, won $6000 during his beginning 2 months in the U.S. Navy during World War II, playing poker. The funds he won was deployed to finance his first campaign for congress, a campaign he won!

Although the game maybe came into existence in China in 1120 A.D., not a soul knows conclusively when the game originated, however we do know that when Columbus landed on U.S.A. shores in 1492, his men obtained wide leaves from trees, marked them with figures, and played cards. Considering that ample people play poker, it is very easy to assume that there should be numerous residents who have poker groupies in their family! It is easy to setup a party that is sure to please them, if your poker party comes complete with poker reports, poker facts, and poker trivia!

Imagine tucking a particular invitation inside your regular invitations to those who have a good time playing poker, inviting pals to stay late, after the common party closes, and enjoy the game! You can just put holes in the corner of a couple of playing cards, band them together with ribbon, and print the "choice" invitation inside! That way, everybody can luxuriate in the party, and when the children and other guests leave, you will have arranged a party within a party, full with an after party game, pretzels, pizza, and your ideal beverage! You can play along yourself, if you indulge in poker, or even take on the part of dealer if you want to be engrossed and may not play the game yourself!
